What are they?
Mechanical Reasoning tests are designed to assess the ability to understand mechanical ideas. Among other things, candidates can be assessed on pulleys, springs, gears and leverage systems, gravitational effects and electrical circuits.
Why is it used?
This test is commonly used in emergency service roles (CFA/MFB, police, army) or engineering roles as they assess a candidates ability to apply practical theory.
